HostMySite.com is down

If you’re like me and use HostMySite.com for your hosting company, well they’re down. Apparently a construction company managed to cut through all 4 fiber lines leading into DataCenter 1. If you call their number (1-877-215-4678), they will offer to move you to DataCenter 2 to get you up and running.
If the first number is busy you can call the back door line 1-877-472-6784.
Things should be back to normal in a couple of hours.
This sucks

Have they never heard of redunancy and diverse entrances? Sheesh….

What are you going to do in a situtation like this. Basically I have no choice but to wait. Email has come back online, but my servers haven’t yet. Hopefully they’ll be up within the hour.

Hi,
yeah I noticed that my sites were down too, but now it is back on`-`
I have used HMS for about 2 years,and this is the first time I noticed them down, still a good track record in my book`-`

Hey guys, I’m considering hosting with hostmysite.com. What has been the general experience with them? Specifically, how good/bad is their tech support on telephone and general reliability as far as page loading and server accessibility etc.?

5:43pm EST and hostmysite.com has been down for 15 mins and could be longer. NOT a happy customer at ALL!!!

Left Hms years ago because they didn’t know how to respond to tickets and keep my site up. I know host with Server Intellect with a vps. Way more stable less issues and never have to worry about someones website hogging the resources and taking my site down. I will never go back to regular web hosting again.
