If there ever was a magazine that was more despised by the community it was targeted at, it was the ColdFusion Developer’s Journal (CFDJ). What started out as a good resource for CF people has dramatically gone to shit. In the beginning of it’s life, you could find good, quality articles, but now, with the advent of blogs, the magazine just reprints whatever it could find on the net to keep itself alive.

Personally I feel sorry for the Silverlight community out there, since the pain is now being transfered over to you. Let us know if you feel the same as we do in 6 months.

Anywho, thank God CFDJ is dead. If there were ways to comment on their stories without registering, I’m sure the feeling around the community would be the same.

Update: Send a friendly message to the Editors knowing how much we’ll miss CFDJ and what a positive impact their magazine has been to the ColdFusion community…… God I feel sick.

Thank god those Windows auto play adverts are going. If they have some remorse they could make the content available on a text-link ad only site.
