CF8 Extension for Eclipse bugs

Posted in ColdFusion by rip747 on October 19, 2007

Some of the bugs I’ve found with the CF8 extensions for Eclipse:

  1. CFIMAGE: the resize action is spelled wrong. Currently spelled rezized.
  2. The “Request Interface” under “ColdFusion Java CFX Reference” throws and org.xml.sax.SAXParseException error.

I’ll continue updating the list as I find more now that I’ve officially switched over to CF8 for all my projects.

Thanks, those are good to know. We haven’t upgraded yet, but it’s good to know what bugs exist.

Hopefully those will be fixed by the time we upgrade.

There are two different set of ColdFusion plugins for Eclipse. There are the free plugins available directly from Adobe (which includes the step-through debugger) and the open source CFEclipse project.

#1 is an error with the CFEclipse language file.

I’m not sure what you mean by the ‘ColdFusion Java CFX Reference’.
