Today is the 5th!

Posted in Ron Paul by rip747 on November 5, 2007

If you haven’t already sent in your pledge, be sure to do so sometime today. Hey even if you’re not a Ron Paul supporter, give a pledge to your candidate today to show your support for them.

UPDATE: the blogsphere is going crazy right now along with all social networking sites about donating to Ron Paul, it’s even hard to get WordPress to come up. It is truly amazing to watch. Just remember people to keep it clean though. I’m seeing a lot of comments out there where people are bashing one another and getting into troll wars. Whether you’re for Ron Paul or not, there is no reason to get into a battle over it. If you’re for Ron Paul, go donate, if you’re not, go donate for your candidate.

What’s the significance of it being the 5th? What’s special about donating to Paul or any other candidate today, as opposed to any other day?

I guess someone watched v for vendetta too many times 🙂

I really just think that someone picked a day on the calendar and went for it.

Uh … when I first read the title of the blog, I assumed that the post was some sort of Guy Fawkes reference. That’s why I was confused, since I still don’t see the connection between the Gunpowder Plot and donating to the candidate of your choice. But the “random day on the calendar” thing makes sense.
